Sharky's Salsa
Ingredients
- 8 1/2 pounds or 12 large tomatoes, quartered
- 3 onions
- 3 green bell peppers
- 6 - 23 hot peppers
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
- 2 Tablespoons salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup vinegar
Directions
Cook tomatoes 1 to 1 1/2 hours, skimming off the skins as they come to the top. Grind onions, garlic,and peppers in a blender and add to tomatoes. Stir in the remaining ingredients and cook for another 35 minutes. Makes 3 quarts.
